The Industrial Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for maintaining production equipment by following all safety rules and practices. This role involves performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. Additionally, the position requires performing emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations. The technician will also install wire and conduit for new and existing equipment, replace faulty electrical components, and diagnose/repair faulty electronic components. A key aspect of this role is troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and conveyor systems, while reading electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic. The job also includes maintaining clean work areas, preparing maintenance records, and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires the ability to safely lift/move up to 75 pounds, accurately read gauges, utilize basic shop math and inspecting skills, and complete quality and administrative documents. Clean-up functions such as blowing down machines, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping, and picking up scrap materials are also part of the responsibilities.
