The Industrial Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and executing emergency/breakdown maintenance to support plant operations. This role involves electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system repairs and installations, including wiring and conduit work for new and existing equipment. The technician will diagnose and repair/replace faulty electrical and electronic components, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and utilize schematics and PLC ladder logic. Basic hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers are used regularly. The position also includes maintaining clean work areas and preparing maintenance records. Experience in a corrugated facility and with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred. The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, read gauges, utilize shop math, and complete quality/administrative documents. Clean-up functions are also part of the responsibilities.
