The Industrial Maintenance Electrician (Multi-Craft) is responsible for maintaining production equipment by following all safety rules and practices. This role involves performing preventative maintenance activities, such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels. The position also requires performing emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations. The electrician will accurately read/use gauges, measurement and test equipment, and perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed. This includes installing wire and conduit for new and existing equipment, replacing faulty electrical components, and diagnosing/repairing faulty electronic components like printed circuit boards. The role also involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, reading electrical diagrams and PLC ladder logic, and using various tools and equipment. Maintaining clean work areas, preparing maintenance records, and working effectively with other associates are also key aspects of the job. The position requires availability for all shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary, along with wearing required PPE and lifting up to 75 pounds. Basic shop math and inspecting skills are also utilized.
