About The Position

We are looking for a talented Industrial Machine Repair – Level 3- 3rd Shift associate to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY. • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• One of the following minimum requirements: At least 7 years of experience in a relevant trade field, or A Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, or A 2-year technical degree in a related field, plus 3 years’ experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
• Ability to provide training, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyance systems, CNC equipment, and automation required.
• Responsible for completing machine layouts and machine installations.
