The Maintenance and Operations Department is seeking (1) Skilled Trades Worker to join the already awesome team, taking the Building Maintenance Department to the next level of excellence!

Requirements

Technical or vocational degree in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electrical trade area; or a high school diploma or GED and one year experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electrical trade area.
A valid Georgia driver's license

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of tools and equipment used in HVAC and heating.
Knowledge of basic principles and practices of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other related trades.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to perform strenuous manual tasks.
Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in HVAC, heating, and plumbing fields, such as jacks, meters, wrenches, etc.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced-level duties assisting skilled trades workers in maintenance and renovation tasks, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building trades work.
Perform semi-skilled tasks (in various trades). Clean work areas, swept, collected trash, assisted in demolition activities, and moved supplies and equipment.
Perform minor operation, maintenance, installation, and repair of HVAC, heating equipment, and plumbing.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems assigned to HVAC and Heating.
Transport raw materials and semi-finished products or supplies between departments or buildings.
Perform minor welding repairs; operates power tools.
Perform light carpentry work, such as building bookshelves, bookcases, etc.
Mixes and pours concrete for foundations and fixtures.
Installs, repairs, and services motors, pumps, and fans.
Operates heavy machinery, such as forklifts, tractors, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
