About The Position

We are looking for a talented Industrial Electrician – Level III- 2nd shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY. In this role, you will make an impact by ensuring safety, compliance and reporting, environmental stewardship, quality craftsmanship, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, team support and training, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a relevant trade field, or
  • A Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, or
  • A 2-year technical degree in a related field, plus 3 years’ experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
  • Ability to provide training, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyance systems, CNC equipment, and automation required.
  • Responsible for completing machine layouts and machine installations
