About The Position

Tradebe is seeking a Laborer to support daily plant operations at its East Chicago, Indiana facility through material handling, equipment operation, and general facility upkeep. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment where safety is the top priority. The position works on-site on third shift, Sunday night through Friday morning, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The starting base pay is $18.90 per hour, increasing to $19.63 per hour after 90 days, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential. The stated pay range is $19.90–$20.63 per hour. Employees are paid weekly.

Requirements

Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
Ability to work on-site and perform physical work.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Industrial, warehouse, or labor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with container movements and plant operations.
Perform housekeeping activities and area inspections.
Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as trained.
Follow safety, environmental, and operating procedures.
Support compliance with facility permits and regulations.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
