About The Position

Tradebe is seeking a Laborer to support daily plant operations at its East Chicago, Indiana facility, its largest processing hub. The role involves material handling, equipment operation, and general facility upkeep in a fast-paced industrial environment where safety is the top priority. The position is on-site and scheduled for third shift, Sunday night through Friday morning, from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

The stated pay range is $19.90–$20.63 per hour. Base pay starts at $18.90 per hour and increases to $19.63 per hour after 90 days, with a $1.00-per-hour shift differential. Employees are paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to work on-site and perform physical work.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Industrial, warehouse, or labor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with container movements and plant operations.
• Perform housekeeping activities and area inspections.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment as trained.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operating procedures.
• Support compliance with facility permits and regulations.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
