About The Position

This internship focuses on assisting with procedure documentation, LOTO procedure improvement, technical data collection, and safety and compliance support within an industrial setting. The intern will gain exposure to real-world industrial operations and engineering practices, with hands-on experience in safety documentation and compliance processes. They will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to safety and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical program.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial systems.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical information and follow structured processes.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, updating, and organizing equipment-specific procedures and technical instructions.
• Support the identification of energy sources, documentation of isolation steps, and preparation of visual aids for Lockout/Tagout protocols.
• Gather equipment information, verify procedural accuracy, and collaborate with engineering and maintenance personnel.
• Assist in ensuring procedures meet OSHA standards and company safety policies.
