About The Position

Join our Industrial Inside Sales team to drive business growth and customer retention. You will act as a key link between customers, account managers, and operations—managing the commercial process from lead generation to order confirmation. You will prospect new customers, expand accounts, and provide fast, accurate quotes for spot and non-contracted business. This is a hybrid role that requires onsite presence 3 days/week in our Savannah, GA office location.

Requirements

  • 5 years in inside sales, commercial support, or a B2B customer-facing role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong negotiation, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Portuguese) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, contact, and cultivate relationships with spot and non-contract customers.
  • Deliver rapid freight and logistics rate quotes through digital tools and multiple communication channels.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Wallenius Wilhelmsen products, converting spot opportunities into long-term contracts.
  • Relay customer pricing feedback to internal pricing and strategy teams.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Pricing, and Operations to streamline processes and optimize quote-to-order conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, handle cargo requests safely and compliantly, and apply approved rate discounts to win business.
