About The Position

The Industrial Hygiene Intern will support the Global EHS team by assisting with industrial hygiene risk assessments, exposure monitoring activities, chemical management systems, and occupational health initiatives across multiple operational sites. This internship provides hands-on experience with workplace hazard identification, data collection, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

  • College Level Mathematical Skills
  • Advanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.
  • High Standard of Report Writing
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in EHS related field

Responsibilities

  • Assist with industrial hygiene risk assessments and workplace hazard evaluations.
  • Support collection and analysis of exposure monitoring data including air sampling and noise monitoring.
  • Maintain organized industrial hygiene records, reports, and monitoring documentation.
  • Assist with chemical inventory management and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) verification within the ECO Online system.
  • Support global site teams with exposure tracking, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate in identifying chemical, physical, and ergonomic hazards.
  • Assist with data analysis, trend tracking, and preparation of summary reports.
  • Participate in meetings, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support audits, documentation reviews, and corrective action tracking.
