About The Position

JLL is seeking an Industrial General Manager to manage a portfolio of industrial properties in the Miami area. This role is responsible for achieving financial results, operating objectives, and ensuring client and tenant satisfaction in accordance with JLL standards and procedures. The General Manager will work directly with clients to understand their investment objectives, develop strategic plans, and oversee their implementation by managing the property team. Strong communication with building owners and tenants is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in commercial industrial property management.
  • Proven track record of managing operating budgets and achieving financial targets.
  • Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and business development within the commercial real estate sector.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in real estate management software (e.g., Yardi), CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid real estate license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Real Estate License and Property Managers License (required within six months if not currently licensed).
  • Professional certifications such as LEED GA, or equivalent industry credentials.
  • Strong network of industry relationships and demonstrated thought leadership in real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual operating budgets and capital plans, ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting.
  • Analyze financial performance, prepare detailed reports, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site property visits and inspections, coordinating necessary repairs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tenant billings and follow-up on Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Implement tenant satisfaction programs and meet regularly with tenants.
  • Oversee competitive bidding for third-party contracted services.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Maintain on-site presence as required.
