About The Position

JLL is seeking an Industrial General Manager to join their Industrial Property Management team in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas market. The General Manager (GM) will provide leadership to their team and outstanding customer service to clients while managing an industrial portfolio. Responsibilities include client and tenant satisfaction, preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI and/or capital improvement projects, and staff development. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective relationships with building owners and tenants. The GM will contribute to establishing work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices, and developing successful, diverse teams through inclusive communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of commercial property management experience.
  • Recent experience managing office, retail, or industrial properties.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Experience preparing budgets, CAM reconciliations, and other related financial reports.
  • Familiarity with building systems.
  • Familiarity with lease negotiation, documentation, and administration.
  • Experience using a property management accounting platform, such as Yardi, Kardin, or MRI.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • People focused, seeking out and understanding the needs, perspectives and motivations of clients and team members alike.
  • Ability to communicate well and manage client, tenant and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to achieve seamless conflict resolution and client retention.

  • Texas Real Estate License is preferred.
