About The Position

This role involves supporting customers locally and nationally by performing maintenance and repairs on equipment. The technician will diagnose issues, perform repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and document all actions. The job requires troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical and fluid power systems, utilizing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge. Adherence to safety protocols and customer codes of conduct is essential. The role also includes opportunities for on-the-job training and technical self-study.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree with a technical focus and 5 years of related industry experience; or 7 years of experience in the specific industry.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools appropriately.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems; capable of analyzing issues, developing alternatives, and performing repairs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with preventive maintenance methods, precision measurement, mechanical alignments, and general process equipment upkeep.
  • Exposure to PLCs, field devices, and electrical drive and motor systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform break-fix and preventive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Identify required parts, supplies, and repair items for maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with customer teams to execute maintenance, reliability, and PM procedures.
  • Set up and operate machining equipment; perform welding as needed.
  • Document work performed in service reports and relevant management systems.
  • Troubleshoot via industrial control systems to analyze and resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines with strong situational awareness.
