About The Position

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineering Technician II for its Liquid Cooling team in Florence, Kentucky. The role supports the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing, and managing integrated production and service delivery systems to help ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control at the production site. The main focus is assisting the Industrial Engineer with maintaining layouts and data in Industrial Engineering-related systems. The scheduled shift is Sunday through Tuesday/Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (shift 401).

Requirements

High school diploma.
Understanding and application of a broad range of Industrial Engineering tools, such as work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design.
Attention to detail when updating data and systems.
Basic analytical ability.
Basic communication skills.
Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products.
Microsoft Visio skills.
Microsoft Project skills.
AutoCAD skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing time studies and time estimates.
Update the site layout and project layouts as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
Update key processes and process maps as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
Update the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB) as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
Enter configuration data into SAP, including Bill of Materials configuration and part master data, as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
Enter configuration data into the Manufacturing Execution System, including routes, steps, and process times, as directed by the Industrial Engineer.
Ensure Jabil processes are standardized throughout the site in accordance with global, regional, and site direction.
Support the Lean organization by maintaining a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement.
Support and/or maintain all lower-level Industrial Engineering essential duties and responsibilities.
Comply with company security procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
