This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering (or a similar applicable field) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with manufacturing production floor employees, including operators, inspectors, quality, and test technicians, to solve day-to-day issues and proactively address longer-term projects to eliminate recurring problems.
  • Design tooling to aid the manufacturing process, leveraging additive manufacturing (3D printing) to support production needs.
  • Analyze and support tasks such as layout optimization, flow improvement, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
  • Assist in planning and allocating resources, materials, and personnel to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Conduct studies focused on cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
