Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op session.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with principles and techniques commonly used in electronics and lean manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel (including advanced formulas and data visualization) and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, AutoCAD, Power BI, SQL, VBA Macros, and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session that will run May - December (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
• Co-facilitate events, activities, and projects to deliver tailored value to our customers and positively impact KPIs.
• Identify drivers of cost and propose alternative solutions for cost reductions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects consistent with the RTX CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) methodology.
• Support the implementation of shop floor management strategies, including but not limited to Visual Management, Cell Design, and Material Flow.
• Act as a culture champion and change agent.
• Provide onsite support.
