About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, qualified civil engineering or civil technician co-op. This position may include overtime hours. Relocation and housing are not provided. This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer, and we will not provide sponsorship. The role involves performing on-site inspections for construction projects, conducting engineering calculations, assisting with project documentation, and utilizing computer-aided drafting for designs and plan sheets. You will also support Engineers with day-to-day tasks on multi-disciplined projects and assist with survey duties.

Requirements

Familiarity with State Department of Transportation and local agency procedures for construction and design.
Experience using the Microstation/AutoCAD software or similar.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of general survey practices and equipment.
Valid Driver's License
Ability to provide own means of reliable transportation.
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
Ability to lift and carry at least 40lbs.
Prolonged periods on construction sites in all-season weather conditions
Excessive standing, walking, or climbing on uneven terrain
Pushing, pulling, and lifting of equipment or materials
Use of a keyboard

Responsibilities
