About The Position
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer Co-op to join our Manufacturing Support team at the Collins Aerospace Decorah, Iowa facility. In this role, you will work side by side with our Engineering team to enhance manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. From tactical problem-solving to strategic planning, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing production operations. You will support various manual or automated build and test operations within the Decorah Operations Team.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have earned a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op session.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- Experience in continuous improvement processes.
Responsibilities

- Gain knowledge of principles and techniques commonly used in electronics manufacturing.
- Learn about the CORE operating system and framework within the RTX business system.
- Design, create, and implement tools, fixtures, or solutions to improve processes.
- Support various manual or automated build and test operations within the Decorah Operations Team.
