Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related STEM field and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments.
- Background in root cause analysis.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing processes, including equipment, floor layouts, work sequences, work instructions, procedures, and workflow.
- Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems.
- Review products and processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks, and collaborate with design teams to incorporate changes to eliminate these risks.
- Manage moderately sized projects or processes.
- Independently resolve problems that are complex and challenging.
- Develop tactical plans to address and manage day-to-day challenges.
- Travel occasionally to local regional sites in Iowa.
