About The Position

Design and implement new technologies, systems, and processes to improve plant production and efficiency. Manage technical aspects of new product builds in support of Production, Quality, and Design Engineering. Apply functional, working, and general industry knowledge to develop or contribute to solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide the activities of more junior employees and technicians.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production engineering in an assembly or fabrication environment.
• Experience leading the implementation of, or overseeing, production tracking software, systems, WIP staging, or automated Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) data collection methods.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing concepts in a production environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create manufacturing processes and procedures from technical data or engineering drawings and models.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
