About The Position

We are seeking an early career Industrial Engineer to join our production team. This is a hands-on role where you will lead process improvements, data-driven decision-making, and new production initiatives. You will work directly with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and support the launch of new production lines. If you love solving complex problems, mentoring others, and introducing technology to effect change, this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • Industrial Engineering experience in a production environment
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience developing forecasts, production schedules, or resource load staffing plans
  • Experience with discrete event simulation of production processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Industrial Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in planning, launching, and ramping new production lines or factories
  • Leadership experience, including team management and conflict resolution
  • Familiarity with SAP, Apriso, VECAMS, Tableau, Simio, or other simulation/data tools
  • Ability to increase production rates while maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with Production Operations and Program Offices
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Prior production experience or involvement in new production programs
  • Active Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve business processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with facilities engineers to plan new production lines and factories
  • Support Manufacturing Engineers in developing standards and measuring performance
  • Generate production process simulations and identify resource constraints, flow improvements, and work schedules
  • Provide data-driven solutions to optimize manufacturing schedules and costs
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure sustained results
  • Interact directly with shop floor production teams to understand processes and deliver actionable insights
  • Support occasional weekend or off-hour operations to meet production schedules
  • Collaborate across all functional groups throughout the product lifecycle
  • Align program priorities and provide valuable solutions across multiple organizations
