We are seeking a high‑impact Industrial Engineer to serve as a technical authority for the optimization of our most critical manufacturing processes and strategic operational initiatives. In this role, you will lead complex, enterprise‑level transformations that improve material flow, enhance scalability, and support long‑term, sustainable growth. This position is designed for an experienced individual contributor who operates with a high degree of autonomy, drives outcomes through technical expertise and influence, and delivers measurable, plant‑wide impact on efficiency, cost, and throughput. You will collaborate closely across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to help shape the next generation of our facilities and manufacturing systems. This role will work onsite, 5 days/week, in Blaine, MN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex manufacturing, material flow, or facility optimization initiatives in dynamic or high‑volume production environments; automotive or similarly fast‑paced operations experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives with broad operational scope, influencing outcomes across value streams, departments, or plant‑level systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to support data‑driven decision making.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools to develop and evaluate facility layouts and material flow concepts.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • SQL experience is a nice‑to‑have.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end design and implementation of manufacturing workflows, facility layouts, and equipment integration to optimize material flow, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the technical lead and decision authority for high‑impact initiatives, defining solution approaches and ensuring results meet key performance, timeline, and cost objectives.
  • Conduct advanced time and motion studies, takt time analysis, and production flow assessments to identify systemic constraints and implement scalable Lean solutions.
  • Define and apply analytical, modeling, and simulation methodologies to evaluate proposed changes, assess tradeoffs, and predict operational outcomes prior to implementation.
  • Act as a primary technical partner to Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams, shaping New Product Introduction (NPI) strategies to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Integrate process improvements with digital systems by leveraging ERP platforms and data visualization tools to convert operational data into actionable insights and sustained performance improvements.
  • Establish and standardize best practices, design guidelines, and analytical approaches to improve consistency, scalability, and long‑term operational excellence.
