About The Position

At Sikorsky, we’re driving innovation in helicopter technology and manufacturing to ensure the highest levels of quality and performance. Our Dynamics, Blades, and Overhaul and Repair Industrial Engineering team focuses on creating efficient, streamlined production processes, enhancing affordability, and maintaining high standards to support Sikorsky's mission of delivering world-class aircraft. As a member of our Industrial Engineering team, you’ll take on a critical role in optimizing production through manpower planning, capacity analysis, workflow and lead-time assessments, labor performance monitoring, and more. You’ll be responsible for developing standard data, justifying capital investments, conducting make-vs-buy studies, and analyzing learning curves to continuously enhance efficiency. You’ll leverage tools such as Excel, Visio, Access, SQL, Tableau, and more to build daily and weekly reports that provide insights into manufacturing labor cost metrics. Your work will directly impact decisions related to affordability, scheduling, and production. Our team is a group of dedicated, innovative professionals committed to improving efficiencies and solving complex challenges within the Dynamics Integrated Product Center (IPT). We work collaboratively with Operations Leadership to identify improvement opportunities and drive positive change in our manufacturing processes and facility layouts, creating a more streamlined and cost-effective production environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
  • Experience with Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) data analysis experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Self-driven, analytical problem-solver with experience in industrial engineering.
  • Strong technical skills with tools like Microsoft Excel, Visio, Access, SQL, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable leading continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Previous Sikorsky Operations Experience
