Collaborate with other members of the Industrial Engineering department, Product Integration, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams to plan and execute fab Capacity, Capital spending, and support Manufacturing Operations & Advanced Module Engineering to ultimately optimize and drive factory output, reduce cycle time, and spending.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Science, or a related field of study, or foreign equivalent
  • 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any related engineering job titles.
  • 3 years of experience in the following: (1) working in the semi-conductor industry; (2) working in high volume manufacturing including producing identical parts/products, automation, machinery, and standardization processes; (3) Route building to define and configure the process flow sequence that a semiconductor wafer and lot must follow through the fabrication facility (fab) to become a finished product; (4) Factory Physics and Principles including facilitating how work-in-process (WIP), cycle time, throughput, variability, and capacity interact; (5) Capacity Planning for production resources including equipment, cleanroom space, staff, and materials; (6) JMP Data Analytics and Power BI for interactive data visualization, statistical analysis, and modeling; (7) Oracle /SAP Systems; and (8) VBA to automate repetitive tasks, manipulate data, generate custom reports.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other members of the Industrial Engineering department, Product Integration, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams to plan and execute fab Capacity, Capital spending, and support Manufacturing Operations & Advanced Module Engineering to ultimately optimize and drive factory output, reduce cycle time, and spending.
  • Lead executive level Capacity & Capital related discussions and meetings.
  • Determine and drive Capacity & Capital spending to targets.
  • Calculate and summarize capacity & financial forecasts.
  • Create, optimize, and share standardized Capacity & Capital related processes and analysis.
  • Work cross functionally with teams around the Globe.
  • Understand Capacity Planning System and methods to calculate fab capacity.
  • Build wafer routes to be used for capacity planning.
  • Update and run the capacity model for both ramp plans and new product analyses.
  • Analyze capacity output and make recommendations on fab tooling purchases, retrofits or transfers.
  • Support various departments in improving factory output using advanced analytics.
  • Train lower-level employees on processes and methodologies.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
