Requirements

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering within an automotive or robotics-focused environment
• Strong proficiency in 3DX (Robotic Simulation)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Proven project management capability with expertise in cross-functional, onsite-offshore coordination
• In-depth understanding of weld, paint, and final assembly processes
• Excellent problem-solving and specification writing skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Delmia V5 or similar robotic simulation tools
• Exposure to new model introduction and automotive production ramp-up activities

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute project activities: plant investigations, feasibility studies, and developmental engineering for robotics integration
• Perform interference and clearance analysis, weld spot distribution, and cycle time optimization for robotic systems
• Create and maintain problem tracking charts; develop and present multiple engineering solutions
• Write detailed equipment, robot, and process specifications
• Conduct robotic reach studies and simulations for welding, sealing, and material handling processes using 3DX (Robotic Simulation) and Delmia V5
• Provide engineering support for new car model introductions, production ramp-ups, and line renovations
• Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless project delivery
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for weld, paint, and final assembly processes
