As a Commercial and Industrial Electrical contractor, we specialize in Heavy Industrial Electrical, Highway Lighting, and Traffic Signalization projects, serving corporate clients and government entities. We maintain yearly contracts with Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Volusia counties, as well as the Florida Department of Transportation. With a second location opening soon in St. Augustine, Florida, we are expanding our reach to serve Jacksonville and surrounding areas. We are currently hiring in Central Florida, St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and Pinellas County.

Requirements

3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to thoroughly follow instructions.
Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
Proficient in Blueprint reading.
Understanding of one-line diagrams and PLCs.

Nice To Haves

Class A CDL Preferred (Must have had for at least 3 years)
Highway Lighting experience Preferred
Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.
Other duties as assigned.
