About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our production facility. Requirements

• Red Seal certification as an Industrial Electrician
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, VFDs, sensors, and control panels
• Experience with PLCs and industrial automation systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
• Strong understanding of safety standards and electrical codes
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food manufacturing or a regulated production environment
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Experience with instrumentation and process control systems
• Project coordination or electrical installation experience
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, and automation equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues and respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Work with PLCs and control systems to troubleshoot and improve production processes
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
• Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support maintenance shutdowns and assist in coordinating work with contractors when required
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Assist with inventory management of electrical parts and supplies
• Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
