About The Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical systems and equipment to support safe and efficient production operations. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, solid-state controls, AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and systematic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to safely use lifts, ladders, and maintenance tools; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems through training, apprenticeship, military service, or work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, control systems, motors, drives, PLCs, HMIs, and related components.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs to ensure reliable equipment operation.
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues that impact safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and electrical codes.
  • Communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Work overtime and respond to equipment breakdowns as required.
