About The Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrician will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing plant. This role directly supports safe, efficient manufacturing that impacts water, air, and environmental quality. The position offers hands-on experience across a wide range of industrial electrical systems and technologies within a collaborative, safety-first team that values craftsmanship and accountability. It provides strong foundational experience for growth into advanced maintenance or electrical roles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience (or relevant apprenticeship experience)
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, including varying shifts if needed

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or trade school training in electrical systems preferred
  • Experience with PLCs or automated control systems
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation or process controls
  • Electrical license or progress toward certification

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to minimize downtime and support continuous plant operations
  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, control systems, instrumentation, and plant electrical infrastructure
  • Install, test, and maintain wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with codes, standards, and specifications
  • Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and implement improvements that enhance equipment reliability
  • Support a strong safety culture by following all electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance requirements
