We are a Commercial and Industrial Electrical contractor specializing in Heavy Industrial Electrical, Highway Lighting, and Traffic Signalization projects. We serve both corporate clients and government entities, maintaining yearly contracts with several counties and the Florida Department of Transportation. Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to thoroughly follow instructions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proficient in Blueprint reading.
  • Understanding of one-line diagrams and PLCs.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of industrial electrical experience Required
  • Minimum of 4+ years of supervising experience Required

Nice To Haves

  • Class A CDL Preferred (Must have had for at least 3 years)
  • Highway Lighting experience Preferred
  • Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of crews of electrical apprentices and industrial electricians.
  • Work closely with the project superintendent and project manager to ensure the efficient and successful completion of projects from start to finish.
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
