This role involves independently interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, validating BOM accuracy, and ensuring correct material identification and readiness. The technician will execute complex panel layouts, perform wire preparation to workmanship standards, and resolve complex routing challenges. Responsibilities include completing terminations, verifying controlled torque processes, defining and applying wire management standards, and performing standard soldering operations. The role also entails conducting advanced diagnostics on electrical assemblies, performing functional electrical testing, leading nonconformance investigations, and ensuring data integrity in records. Additionally, the technician will verify ESD compliance, lead 5S activities, promote a strong safety culture, ensure assemblies are protected during handling and storage, and ensure document compliance. The position requires active support for cross-training, continuous improvement, and error-proofing initiatives. Safely working with live 120V electrical equipment is expected, with support for live 480V work. Training Tier I technicians on standard work processes and workmanship expectations is also a key responsibility, along with clear communication across functions and coordination of small work assignments. The role requires independent application of operational processes and awareness of business and quality performance indicators.
