About The Position

We are looking for a paid, in-person Industrial Design Intern to join our team for approximately 4 months to contribute to meaningful client and internal projects that create real-world impact. This is an opportunity to work alongside industrial designers, engineers, strategists, and technologists while gaining hands-on experience across the full product development lifecycle. We're seeking curious, collaborative problem-solvers who are passionate about design and eager to contribute from concept through execution.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Portfolio demonstrates thoughtful design process, concept exploration, visual storytelling, aesthetic judgment, and well-crafted outcomes.
Proficiency in 2D design (sketching, visualization, Adobe Creative Suite).
Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering (SolidWorks and KeyShot preferred).
Hands-on prototyping and model-making experience.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Interest in emerging technologies and Generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Vizcom, or Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

Support the design process from research and ideation through concept development, refinement, and implementation.
Communicate ideas through sketching, CAD modeling, rendering, prototyping, and storytelling, using both physical and digital tools.
Collaborate across disciplines to solve complex challenges, contribute to client work, and support internal innovation initiatives.
