About The Position

SharkNinja is hiring an Industrial Design Co-op for January through June 2027. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role is based onsite five days per week in Needham, Massachusetts, with no relocation or housing assistance. The co-op will join SharkNinja’s cross-disciplinary Design team and gain hands-on experience across the product development cycle, from early research and concept development through CAD and prototyping. Working with Design, Engineering, Marketing, and other disciplines, the co-op will help shape the visual and tactile identity of Shark and Ninja consumer products. The role involves translating consumer insights into user-centered product designs, creating sketches, illustrations, renderings, presentation visuals, and prototypes, and collaborating with Engineering on production-ready CAD. The co-op will also contribute to color, material, finish, texture, and branding decisions; explore emerging trends and materials; and develop design solutions that balance performance, cost, and consumer appeal. The SharkNinja Early Edge Experience provides early-career talent with meaningful projects, professional development opportunities, community events, and connections across the company. Participants have an opportunity to present their contributions and learnings to SharkNinja leaders.
