About The Position

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Cleaner Supervisor to join its team at the Wentzville Assembly facility in Wentzville, Missouri. The supervisor is responsible for personnel and subcontractor safety, work quality, routine sanitation and janitorial cleaning, and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at the host facility.

This is a third-shift role, scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday in Week 1 and Friday through Sunday in Week 2.

Requirements

• At least one year of supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
• At least six months of industry-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Develop TIS’ and routinely review these safety documents with the crew, evaluating job hazards and determining and enforcing required precautions, procedures, and PPE.
• Evaluate and counsel employees on quality and safety.
• Provide direction, equipment, small tools, materials, and supplies to support the crew.
• Act as a customer/client liaison.
• Prepare and submit job reports as directed by the site manager, director, and/or customer.
• Make recommendations regarding equipment purchases, personnel needs, and equipment maintenance.
• Receive and stow materials and supplies.
• Inspect equipment and small tools to ensure they are in proper working condition; red-tag and remove damaged, broken, or malfunctioning items from service.
• Conduct site inspections and safety tours, including Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, and Conveyor Audits.
