You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in. The Industrial Account Manager role is responsible for owning, retaining, and optimizing an assigned end user account. This role combines account management, quotations, project execution with strategic sales development to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize sales and drive business growth. This role will engage with a specific industrial customer regularly through in-person and digital channels to maintain strong customer relationships, manage account performance and drive the sales process from start to finish.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing customer relationships and growing accounts, ideally in industrial and/or EPC related business
  • Demonstrated success related to the review of bid packages, quotation, scheduling, expediting, and documentation.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, drive revenue and expand market share
  • Strong communication skills: Active listening, establishing rapport and nurturing leads
  • Problem solving: Ability to develop simple solutions for assigned book of accounts
  • Relationship building / management and collaborative
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Own, maintain and nurture relationships with large national customer ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Engage with customers regularly throughout the entire sales process, maintaining continuous and proactive communication via in person visits/meetings, phone and email to build trusted advisor relationships.
  • Lead comprehensive review of Bid packages to ultimately provide a fully conforming quote inclusive of Project Specifications, AML, Test & Documentation requirements and any other pertinent information.
  • Lead Project Management duties, including scheduling, expediting, and cross-district coordination.
  • Manage and drive performance of assigned account, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end account lifecycle—from initial engagement to post-delivery support.
  • Ensuring a seamless, consistent customer experience, addressing any concerns or issues proactively and acting as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and issues.
  • Track and report on account performance, sales activities, and customer feedback.
  • Utilize data to refine sales strategies and enhance customer engagement.
  • Leverage key internal specialists to offer expanded strategic product offerings and strengthen engineered product execution.
