About The Position
John Mini services a variety of prestigious, commercial accounts such as businesses, residential buildings, shopping centers, and hotels. Our indoor landscapes vary from living walls, atriums, containerized plantings, and seasonal designs. We are looking for a full time horticulturist to join our Long Island team! The horticulturist exudes passion for the green industry, and will apply their knowledge and expertise to plantscape care and maintenance (watering, pruning, plant health ID). Friendly, courteous customer service skills are a must!
Requirements
- Friendly, courteous customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years experience with plant care, gardening, or general landscaping is preferred.
- An educational background in plant science, interior-scape, horticulture, or environmental sciences is encouraged!
- Someone seeking purpose in their work and a passion for the impact their work has on their community

- Someone comfortable making mistakes and an appreciation for constant learning
- Someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard
