About The Position

Green Valley Cooling & Heating is looking for an Indoor Air Quality Technician to join their trusted and growing HVAC team. This role is for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating healthier, more comfortable indoor environments.

Requirements

• High school or GED diploma required
• Great communication skills
• Must obtain EPA Type II Certification within the first 60-days of employment
• Background check and drug test required
• Authorized to work in United States
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in install training seminars and classes
• Be a team player
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances and extreme weather conditions
• Climb ladders
• Operate service vehicles

Nice To Haves

• Previous HVAC or IAQ experience preferred (we will train the right person)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A genuine interest in helping customers feel healthier and more comfortable in their homes

Responsibilities

• Perform duct cleanings, Aeroseal duct sealing, and install air purification products on heating and cooling systems.
• Help customers understand their options and recommend the right solutions to improve their home’s air quality and comfort.
• Work independently or as a two-person team to complete jobs efficiently and professionally.
• Provide expert recommendations to improve air quality and comfort in customers’ homes.
• Complete and maintain accurate service records.
• Identify needed repairs and present them to customers for approval.
• Assist with HVAC service support tasks, such as filter changes and equipment cleaning.
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every job.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
