About The Position

Green Valley Cooling & Heating is looking for an Indoor Air Quality Technician to join their trusted and growing HVAC team. This role is for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating healthier, more comfortable indoor environments. The technician will perform duct cleanings, Aeroseal duct sealing, and install air purification products on heating and cooling systems. They will be the face of the IAQ services, helping customers understand their options and recommending the right solutions to improve their home’s air quality and comfort. Work can be performed independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school or GED diploma required
• Great communication skills
• Must obtain EPA Type II Certification within the first 60-days of employment
• Background check and drug test required
• Authorized to work in United States
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in install training seminars and classes
• Be a team player
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances and extreme weather conditions
• Climb ladders
• Operate service vehicles

Responsibilities

• Perform duct cleaning, Aeroseal, and air purification product installations
• Provide expert recommendations to improve air quality and comfort in customers’ homes
• Complete and maintain accurate service records
• Identify needed repairs and present them to customers for approval
• Assist with HVAC service support tasks, such as filter changes and equipment cleaning
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every job
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor
