About The Position

Ellie Mental Health is growing and seeking a licensed therapist to work with couples and individuals in the greater Charlotte community. The position is located in either the Blakeney or Southpark office. Requirements

  • Candidates must be independently licensed in the state of NC.
  • Out of state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with couples
  • Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficiency with using EHR's
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
  • Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • A basic knowledge of third-party billing/rev cycle management concepts
  • Knowledge of community resources and demonstrable willingness to learn about and engage with Ellie's preferred providers
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365
  • Therapists with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience will be given priority

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to teens and adults (couples optional but preferred)
  • Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week. (5.5 clients/day)
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans
  • Work with billing dept to maintain clean accounts for clients
  • Coordinate services with medical providers, other treatment providers, and school staff as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for clients.
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
  • Assist with onboarding of new therapists (this promotes a welcoming, strong, and inclusive company culture)
  • Show up in our community! Engage in networking/social, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community.
