Individual and Couples Therapist
About The Position
Ellie Mental Health is growing and seeking a licensed therapist to work with couples and individuals in the greater Charlotte community. Requirements
- Must be independently licensed in the state of NC. Out of state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC.
- Demonstrable experience in working with couples
- Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
- Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
- Proficiency with using EHR's
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
- Ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of third-party billing/rev cycle management concepts
- Knowledge of community resources and demonstrable willingness to learn about and engage with Ellie's preferred providers
- Proficient in the use of Office 365
- Therapists with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience will be given priority
Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to teens and adults (couples optional but preferred)
- Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week (5.5 clients/day)
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans
- Work with billing dept to maintain clean accounts for clients
- Coordinate services with medical providers, other treatment providers, and school staff as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service for clients
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings
- Assist with onboarding of new therapists
- Engage in networking/social, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community
