Requirements

A high school diploma or GED combined with 1-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
A current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Underwriting various types of loans
Supporting timely lending decisions
Discussing loan options with members
Educating members on financial management
Analyzing loan applications and credit reports effectively
Cross-selling credit union services
Conducting loan interviews
Maintaining loan documentation
Providing basic financial counseling when needed
Cross-selling credit union services; providing information regarding services and some counseling as necessary.
Conducting loan interviews and obtaining previous credit history of member, as well as other pertinent data that could be used later.
Establishes loans considering such factors as member’s assets, liabilities, credit experience, and references based on FCU loan procedures.
Assisting and supporting Contact Center Representative/Loan Officer I with activities related to member service.
Providing basic financial counseling when needed or requested by members.
Maintaining member loans with supporting loan documents.
