About The Position

Menasha Corporation is seeking an Indirect Tax Intern to join their Tax team. This role will support the organization's indirect tax compliance in the US and Canada by assisting with compliance activities, reconciling tax accounts, and other tax-related projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, organized, and possess strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or other related degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recurring indirect tax compliance activities to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns, including US tax filings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Assist with reconciling tax payable accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in gathering information requests from state and local tax auditors.
• Support the tax team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks.
• Assist with performing indirect tax research.
