Requirements

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing buyer position
Organized and comfortable with ambiguity
Being able to prioritize and troubleshoot requests
Strong communication ability
Good Project Management skillset
Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's in supply chain preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Execute and design cost opportunities for manufacturing site
Comply with Essity procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions
Support Sourcing managers in the execution of tenders, supplier qualification, supplier selection, risk management
Work closely with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through cost saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes and tracking savings.
Maintain and develop knowledge database, aligning reporting capability across the hub and co-ordination of systems improvements, driving initiatives such as E- procurement.
Review and monitor sourcing operational needs when working with suppliers, ensuring effective communication of best practices.
Review and maintain records of approved suppliers in line with Essity risk policy.
Ensure that the interests of Essity are managed in a professional and ethical manner throughout all interactions with suppliers, ensuring full compliance with Essity Supplier Standard.
Ensure, where appropriate, the integration of common product types across the location.
Supply regular updates and KPI’s to Sourcing managers to ensure effective communication of cost saving activities.
