About The Position

Terros Health is seeking an Independently Licensed Clinical Coordinator for its 27th Ave clinic in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time role involves leading an interdisciplinary clinical team focused on the Children's Department. The ideal candidate will be professional, friendly, a self-starter, organized, and compassionate, embodying Terros Health's core values of integrity, compassion, and empowerment. The organization emphasizes whole-person health through integrated care, focusing on physical health, mental health, and substance use care. The position oversees clinical quality and care for patients in Children's Outpatient and Café programming, including hiring, training, and mentoring Case Managers and Peer Support Specialists. Responsibilities include managing clinical services, performance reviews, patient relations, safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence. The role provides clinical and administrative supervision to unlicensed staff, ensuring programming aligns with the whole-person philosophy, CFT model, and regulatory standards. Collaboration with internal and external providers is key, working under the direct supervision of the Children's Director.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of experience and education in children’s system of care
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field
  • Licensed at the independent level in accordance with ARS Chapter 33, Article 1, under the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
  • Interpersonal skills which allow for professional and positive relationships with co-workers, members, families, and other community members.
  • Strong clinical skills, including crisis de-escalation preferred.
  • Good communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening, and positive interactions.
  • Thorough understanding of clinical documentation requirements and procedures.
  • DSM-V competency.
  • Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Electronic health record, NextGen preferred
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must have valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy
  • Must pass a TB Test.

Responsibilities

  • Manages staff performance through effective, regular and timely feedback, including regular one-on-one meetings and timely completion of performance reviews, holding employees accountable for meeting deliverables and following company policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and evaluates assigned staff members through clinical oversight and chart reviews; uses data and analytics to ensure excellence in care.
  • Monitors staff productivity to ensure metric is met by all direct reports according to Policy 5301 Productivity and Metrics Requirements.
  • Monitors daily operations to ensure the needs of patients are being met and that services are delivered as outlined in each patient’s assessment and CFT/Individual Service Plan.
