About The Position
The Independent Sublease Optometrist operates a private, independent Doctor of Optometry practice next to a Target Optical dispensary operated by Luxottica. The optometrist provides high-quality optometric care and services, determines their own professional fee schedule, and keeps patient revenue associated with the professional services they deliver. The practice offers professional autonomy without company-imposed restrictions, interference, or quotas; scope of practice is guided by the optometrist. Flexible practice arrangements are available, including part-time commitments and adding appointments to an existing practice schedule. The rent agreement includes a furnished office, well-equipped exam lane(s), an online appointment book, and a patient recall system. The independent practice model is described as allowing entry with minimal financial risk or obligations, with brand-supplied onboarding support from the first exam. Affiliated optometrists are also eligible to participate in OneSight’s vision-care mission.
