Independent Optometrist - Walmart
About The Position
This opportunity allows an Independent Optometrist to lease space inside Walmart stores to launch their services. The optometrist will take a leading role in patient care concerning eye and vision care, as well as general health and wellbeing. As an independent lease holder, the optometrist has the autonomy to establish their days and hours of practice, control their patient schedule, set their fee schedule, and keep 100% of exam/professional fees. For a fair market value, they can also opt into equipment instrumentation and administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services, if allowed by the state. This is not an employment position with Walmart Inc.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry OD from an accredited optometry school
- Valid state optometry license
- Ophthalmologist MD or DO from an accredited school
- Valid state ophthalmology license
- General Liability Certificate
- Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
