About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical home, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services throughout Arizona. Its programs serve people experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

The F/ACT Independent Living Specialist works with clients with serious mental illness in their homes or in the field to build independent living skills that support ongoing recovery. Skills may include food shopping, learning bus routes, cleaning the home, maintaining proper hygiene, sustaining relationships with supportive family, and developing community-based supports. The position is in the field at least 80% of the time and also provides after-hours and on-call support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health.
• One or more years of clerical and/or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients with serious mental illness in their homes or in the field to develop independent living skills.
• Assist clients with food shopping, learning bus routes, cleaning their homes, proper hygiene, relationships with supportive family, and community-based supports.
• Help clients develop skills that support sustained recovery.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support.
