We are seeking a passionate and experienced Independent Living Program Supervisor (ILPS) to lead our Independent Living Program serving youth and young adults transitioning from foster care to adulthood. This position provides an exciting opportunity to supervise a dedicated team, strengthen community partnerships, and support young people as they develop the skills, confidence, and resources necessary to thrive independently. Position Summary The Independent Living Program Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Independent Living Program and supervises Independent Living Coordinators who provide case management and supportive services to youth and young adults ages 14-24. The ILPS ensures program compliance, contracts, service quality, team performance, and achievement of program goals while maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders. This role combines leadership, program administration, coaching, and direct service support to help young people achieve successful transitions into independent adulthood.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field, Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or program management experience
  • Option 2: Master's Degree in a related field, Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience, Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or program management experience
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
  • Ability to transport youth in a personal vehicle when required
  • Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing coaching, mentoring, case management, or supportive services to adolescents and young adults
  • Experience working with foster care, transition-age youth, or independent living programs

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Independent Living Program
  • Ensure alignment with Clarvida's mission, values, and program philosophy
  • Develop and implement program structures, schedules, and service delivery processes
  • Monitor program performance and achievement of contractual goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, contract requirements, licensing standards, and administrative regulations
  • Manage program systems and workflows to support efficient operations
  • Monitor program budgets and support revenue target achievement
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and invoicing processes
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate Independent Living Coordinators
  • Provide weekly supervision, coaching, mentorship, and professional development
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective action plans when necessary
  • Review and approve employee timesheets and PTO requests
  • Facilitate department meetings and promote team collaboration
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and supportive work environment
  • Support staff in delivering individualized services that promote independence and self-sufficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Provide direct case management support and maintain a caseload as needed
  • Ensure youth services are strengths-based, culturally responsive, and youth-centered
  • Support youth in developing life skills, achieving goals, and accessing community resources
  • Complete required agency and contractual training requirements
  • Monitor service quality and outcomes
