As an Income Maintenance Caseworker with the Department of Human Services (DHS), you will play a key part in helping clients understand and receive vital services. You will build confidence with applicants as you review information, explain requirements, and support timely decisions. This position gives you the chance to strengthen your professional skills while serving the community. Become part of the Tioga County Assistance Office (CAO) and support work that changes lives. This position focuses on determining eligibility for a variety of assistance programs while supporting customers with clear guidance and timely casework. After attending an 8-week Income Maintenance Standard Training Program (IMSTP), you will be completing your job duties in an office setting environment.
